5 days to sportsball..redbull

stay at home the whole day to follow up on all sponsors...call and call..talk and talk..check email...and check email..quite a busy day...

Red Bull agreed to sponsor us ...but they have to provide a team to fullerton hotel to "promote" their drinks..my director was not keen on that..cos it may spoil the ambience of the atmosphere of the ball with so many important guests esp Mr Mah Bow Tan..

Call their marketing manager...he is also not too keen on the decision to put the drinks in the goodie bags..frankly speaking if i am the marketing manager..i will also will not agree...talking ppl about the benefits of the product before giving them..definitely will go a long way in marketing rather than puting them in the goodie bags..

Frankly speaking i was impressed with their marketing effort and idea when they came to NUS during last sem during exam to give out red bull drinks..There are 2 Red Bulls girls driving a blue volkwagon with a big red bull logo on the car...I think the Red Bulls girls are real cute...so sporty...hehe...The marketing manager for Red Bull definitely have learn his marketing lesson well..impressive..


went to supermarket to buy a tub of ice cream..have been craving them..buy a magnolia chocolate chip at 4.20..and buy a loaf of bread...that gonna be my supper..

i think i need to exercise..so damn busy..cant exercise..actually giving myself too much excuses...went to exercise in the evening..can notice the difference in my fitness...hiaz...since last training...damn weak liao..think i better be consistent..

6 days to sportsball

now at 220am..writing my blog...thinking of what have happened today...not bad quite a rewarding day..

have 2nd mno1001 tutorial today...damn fun..we have to make a stable structure using just straw and tape to support a egg drop from 8 feet..wah sound like physics..s=ut+1/2at^2...hehe..cannot make it..
my structure is call the cup and egg....
My team ,we made a structure like a bouquet of straws..we tapped the thing to the floor before going for the test..one of us suppose to drop an egg from 8 feet..if the egg lands without cracking,it's a gd landing...each team given only 1 attempt..Xiang lai volunteered to drop the egg..that when we realise something wrong with our struture ..the opening is too small..the thrower will have a hard time aligning the egg ..so that when the egg drop it will fall right into the structure..

in fact our egg went out of the structure..and hit onto the floor..cracked...cannot make it..we have made some minor "zeroing"with 2 guys giving xianglai direction...

haiz..we request for another attempt..the 2nd time the egg went in..and did not crack..during this tutorial we learned why working in a team is impt..esp during the brainstorming and planning process...

after this tutorial went staight to level3 lab..have to rush my report..suppose to viva my 1st level3 report...do it double quick time..print it out..and wait for my turn..happen to know some guys are doing 3rd expt..god..i haven start my 2nd..

Tecksoon and huike is also going for viva with the same prof..prof KURTSIEFER Christian(Pic attached).mine turn came...wah he viva me for at least half an hour..actually i dun know what he is trying to explain..totally lost..too difficult for me....wah..cannot make it..just have to act i understand...phew...

finally over...went to tuition at 6pm..another one at 8pm..finish my 2 tuition at 10pm..

real close liao..will be having a o comm meeting this thurs...means i have to change my tuition to mon..will be packing the goodie bag this sun..

have to give tuition today in the noon..wah my student have not been doing well during the pre-prelim..he need more tuition so become..3x a week...tues,fri and sun...phew...

was shock to find out tiff that edwin is backing out on the competition...call olivia to convince not to...cos i think he gt a high chance to win...but understand he is super stress.due to all the pageant trainings..and lifesaving trainings..

Sportball 05 coming real close..phew..Yew lim went down to Daniel Yam with Olivia to conclude the sponsorship deal..We hope to secure sponsorship for gown for the female pageant contestants..I am quite stress for the sponsorship for the formal wear male part...still cant get any..gdness...

Yew Lim called me to tell me about the terms and conditions..have to go down to Daniel office to sign the contract..

I just bought ibook 12inch at $1700.real happy with the purchase..i am longing to own a imac for damn long liao..finally i can buy it...also very happy i can get rid of my stupid toshiba m100..damn..stupid laptop..it really a lousy laptop..cant make it..guess what i managed to sell it off at 950..hehe..

19 july tues

wah today sleep until 9am..damn relax...hehe..work at sentosa at 11am til 7pm...

mum is buying chong pang nasi lemak for my lunch to be eaten at sentosa..she call me telling me that my parents will fetch me to sentosa..hehe...mum call me to feed vivi for breakfast..i put 2 scoops of food for her..she like very hungry..after a while she finish liao..i let her out of her cage to let her play around...

so start to pack my bag...and eat my breakfast...pandan cakes and 2 pieces of bread..

mum and dad come back liao..they quite shocked to see her running around the house..they call her to go back to the cage to do her big business...

we then went down to the car park..my dad call me to drive..gt the chance to drive ..that good..

i reach sentosa bus stop about 10am...i thought of going in early to play and train the surfboard.after going office to sign in..went straight to tower 2 ..change into my gear at 7-11 toilet..Xtina is doing tower 2 today...ask her whelthere can take out the surfboard and train..she not sure..so i comm gaz...he say ..can only play during break..hmm..then i come too early liao..nothing to do..

haiz...thought of canoeing also..difficult...can only do during breaks...
how...no choice..stay at tower2...eat my nasi lemak and chit chat with Xtina..wah..we talked for quite alot...haha...alot of things to say ..man..

she went for her break..and i cover for her tower...then start to rain..haiz..damn boring...i hope the rain stops..i want to play the surfboard..damn..i personally noe it wont stop...

after xtina go for her break...it was rayson for tower1 turn..there is a ntu hall orientation going around palawan beach..uncle quek our supervisor reminded me the things they are going to do ..when they come over to my beach..he and rayson then go for their break..

it still raining heavily..finally my turn to go for the break comes..but..it still raining..cant go surfboarding..gaz fetch me to office on the buggy..hehe..

when i went into office ..saw gaz,neo,uncle quek and stephanie..talking about the events for the open lifesaving competition..i think sentosa team is strong...they have won quite a few gold medals last year...

the more we talk..the more we get interested..the idea of going training surfices..stephanie want to go back liao..thought of getting a lift too on the buggy..neo sent us back..i went to canoe and do some light running...

then take over rayson..he went over to xtina to relieve her..so that she can go home...there is another engine dry run for o week..saw junchuan..

finally 7pm..comes..have to go to give tuition at guillemard...i then gt a sms..saying he cant today..i was like..but..u tell me now..it alreay 7 ..i am on my way...

i decided to tell cheng siang...i am on my way..he still say he cant..nvm...i then tell him it very hard for me to find other slots to give him tuition cos of my work..

i went home to eat loh..then talk to my mum about this problem..she and i agreed that i should call chang siang mum to talk it out..to my shock his mum tell me that cheng siang tell her that i cant make it..wah..champion..luckily i talk to her mum..it his trick..i then tell his mum that he keep changing tuition lately..which made me very hard to arrange my other stuff..i hope to fix 2 days for the tuition...

she agreed with me..she will call me back on that..she called me back..confirmed wed and thur 7-9pm..phew finally...

went to teach my sis..her math test did very well ..23/25..can get full marks..she just copy one part wrong..haiz..saw her chem test..29/40..not very good..go thru her mistakes...made her understand my theories..

went online to chit chat..and check email...confirmed tomolo SOW banner painting at sch and going to check it out the dance classes for the sportsball 05 pageant..

decided to go it a day at 1.07am..

10 july Sun

Wake up at 8am..today beach training...looking forward to training there...rather than changi..sentosa much more convenient...easier to go and much cleaner..changi beach quite dirty for the sand and water..it is quite dangerous as we ran on the beach sand..alot of litter on changi beach..phew..finally..change liao..i guess alot of ulc ppl looking forward to that..

Mum buy back some kuey...better eat more stuff...later training will be tough....

Pack my bag and get ready to go sentosa...

Went to the bus stop to take bus ..happen to see mum and dad in the car coming back from home..they picked me up and sent me straight to sentosa entrance...so nice...

Went to palwan beach training..Saw jieming and his friend at the bus terminal in sentosa..We took the yellow line to palawan beach..

We alight at dolphin lagoon..We then walk all the bus to look for Mr Sim...Saw him standing at the beach with his distinct cap and long sleeve shirt..

I went with Mr Sim to get the Surf board from the lifeguard there..The surfboards are those we used at changi..they have bring over to Sentosa for us to train..

Was talking to the lifeguard on duty to give us the key to get the boards..Then suddenly the lifeguard ask u all from NUS u know who is Ronghua?I was like!what???Mr Sim say i am ronghua loh..I then remember he is Mr Neo...which i talk to him last time when i come to sentosa to express my interest in working as a lifeguard at sentosa..he was the one who took my particulars..but he say he lost my hp no..he ask me if i want today?i was like what..today..hehe..i look at Mr Sim..he just say ..sure...go and work..haha..so strange ..suppose to go training ...went working like that..then another lifeguard Julian came along..Mr Neo call me to follow him..i am to work from 11am to 7pm.

Julian gave the key to Mr Sim to get the surfboards..they are going to silso to train...

I get on the buggy with Julian..he bring me to the lifeguard station to put my belongings and change up...All the guys are slowing coming in..They are the ones doing the 11am shift...All the guys are talking and dicsussing who is doing which post?and who is doing with who?

Julian sent me to tanjong beach..which he claimed to be the safer beach around..there will be 3 people there..

I was sent over by buggy to the tanjong beach post..Julian was briefing me on the life and work of a beach patrol life guard..

Reaching there i saw the 2 guys..jiawei and shiqin...intro myself..jiawei..he show me around the beach...the different areas of the tanjong beach...

he then briefed me on the equipments around..the kayak and the very red typical baywatch topedo buoy..

He then call me to go up the watch tower..it the highest tower around..can see real far ahead ...can see the happening pub km8.it real happening pub..saw alot of happening ppl hanging around there..with the good music..

Siqin went to take a break first..i will go last..i walk around the beach to do patrol..real happy..i always look forward to being working as a real lifeguard..finally gt my chance..somemore working at sentosa..

real happy..shiqin come back from her break..it jiawei time to go for his break..he went to train his swimming in the pool..hehe..damn steady..

before long it my turn..get the bicycle thought of going palawan beach to look for my friends playing at sentosa..talk to them for a while..went back to the station to get my bag before going back..

Went to 7-11..thought of getting my lunch..but not much food left..nvm..go home then eat my dinner...

Siqin have to go home..another guy came over to take over..Then we can see a storm coming ..dark clouds coming..we went down to call all the guests to leave..it starts to rain very heavily and worse thing the wind is really strong..we hide in our hut..which is not gd enough..cos the rain is still coming in and the wind is still blowing..we are shivering like mad..it really damn cold..what a day?..hehe..my first day..

We take turns to hide the toilet..really cannot make it..then an incident happen..3 ang moh guests took our kayak and went out to the sea..we ran after them..calling them back..on 1 look they are damn drunk...they are talking nonsense...we get them back..we bring our kayak back on the sand...jiawei warned them not to do it..

julian came over on his buggy..he want to show me around the beach and orientate me..before long his walkie talkie ..my post has request for help..the same guest has snatched the kayak and went out to sea..

Julian comms for ranger help...we went over to take a look..julian went over ..he call jiawei to get into the water and and swim and call them to return to shore..

They returned shore..julian gave a very serious warning..after everything..he bring me back to the station to fill in the particulars..he then want me to go coasties to bring out some floats with other guys..Matthew show me how to take out the floats..Kok chin also come over to help..We put the floats at the corner behind the first aid office..

We then get on the buggy and head back to station..time to go home..Grabbed our bag..took the buggy to go the showing area..

After a very short debrief after julian..went to Ranger office to punch card..obviously i dun have..we then took blue line to go bus terminal..then take another bus to harbour front mrt..feeling very cold and tired...

Reach home..tuck in to dinner ...cant wait liao..

wake up at 8am..cannot make it ..abit tired...feel like going to the gym to activate myself..hehe..receive a sms from zhiyong that today cant have tuition..parents not at home..sis tell me mum buying breakfast back..went down to gym..when i getting the key from the guard ..saw them coming back...

done with my workout ..then went back home to eat my breakfast..ops gt miss call..call back my mum..they are buying.nasi lemak from chong pang.

went up..suppose to go sentosa for volleyball today..gt a sms saying it cancelled due to bad weather..oh no..today will be a boring day...

Was reading newspaper til i drop sleeping...wake up after an hour or so..

Tucked into the nasi lemak when my parents come back..indeed it was famous...

After eating..decided to go shopping at bugis then go over sim lim square to check out some stuff..

my brother call me to buy dvd ..he give me specific instructions to the top storey to buy from the shop znix..rather than the famous ATF..

so i went shopping at bugis...as usual was tempted to buy stuff...haha...bossini gt sale..which i want to get the angle socks and quick dry towel..the quick try towel going at 8.00 instead of arena 26.00..but need to spend at least 40.00 then can purchase..
topshop having sale too.saw quite a nice slippers...also op having sale..saw a quite cool sandals...at 27.00 after discount..dun have my size...this sandals has hole below to help ventilation esp when going to beach..quite comfortable..personally i like the colour..

spend quite some time at the comics and toy shop beside kino..

done with bugis have to go sim lim..then suddenly remember my friend say bencoolen shopping centre sells watches at a gd price..want to check it out..call my friend qiming...to get the directions...finally get to that shop..alamak.dun have that watch i am looking for..nvm.

went over to sim lim sq...go straight to the top..he sms me to buy 25dvd about 30..wah so many brands..dun noe which one he want..call him..he want tdk..wah tdk dvd going for 25..gt the dvd my brother ..was cheaper than my brother price that he quoted..he also gt tell me can bargained..alamak..better dun bargained..so reasonable liao price..want to go ATF to go see how much cheaper it selling here..

went over to the mac shop..playing with the mac..wah mac really nice..in terms of user friendly and architecture..but ex..saleman trying to convince me the power of mac..play around with the laptop...and imac5...take the broshure ..wanted to go liao..saw James lye..the ex-actor..wah indeed handsome..haha..

went down to check out some lcd screen and printer ...haha..i gt no intention to buy at all..just want to see what newest around..make the salesman talk and talk..then end with let me consider..hehe..abit bad..

before i knew it ...it about 430pm..want to go home liao..make a phone call to the new tuition lobang..intro to me by meien..teach phy jc1..at bedok..stress....

call the student mum to get the exact add..just ask her where jc her daughter studying...RJC...I was like...erm...quite shocked..RJC ..still need tuition meh...feel so inferior when she ask me which jc i am studying ..she must be laughing at me when i say TPJC..not that i not proud of my JC..but deep inside top 5jc means top 5jc..haiz..just try loh

my mum cook duck soup for dinner...after eating ..feel so tired...fell asleep again when reading newspapers...haha..must be too tired...wake up after some time...went running in the gym...

went back home..went to have my red wine and cheese at my parent room..wah enjoy life siah..then check some mail and typing this blog til 133am..

24 jun fri

wake up like 830am..eat some tuna bread for breakfast..give sister some tuition before she go to sch to do project..check my email..alamak got a email ..alamak the buyer who agreed to buy my sis hifi..say he dun want liao..gt to ask a another person who ask me the other time about letting it go at 70..no choice ..contact him..he will be picking up at 5pm..

went to make phone calls..and type emails..and proposals..busy day..Weeshan sms me telling me cant contact the shisheldo marketing person...cant strike a deal ..yew lim is also meeting up with Gajah international to settle IT products sponsorship..i really hope all went well...

Went to Kallang Airport to eat..mum was suggesting eat mutton soup..sure ..that be gd...i am driving..i am still not used to this car..not very steady..

Do some parking..feel like vomitting blood..one simple parking i made so many tries...haha....

went to eat loh...dad want to order the lao fu zi hokkien mee..hawker told him need to wait 40min cos gt to cook 30 packets...haha...my dad never order loh..

order 2 mutton soup with rice...and some popiah...mutton soup was good..mum ordered those with tendons..my fav...

Drive home again..Practise quite a few times on parking at my house carpark..want to perfect it...my father was telling me when u drive..u control the car..not the car control u.interesting but true quote..

went home...do my work again.saw my friend email looking for people to work for NIVEA as promoter for their newline of sunspray during the billabong volleyball open at sunset bay at 23 24 july..but i think the criteria must be quite strict cos gt to send photos and interview..anyway want to give it a try..gd money also ...200 for 2days...the guy came at 5 to collect the hifi..went down to pass him the stuff..he somemore ask me gt tv want to sell..i remember my parents really very old..at least 10+ years..why not sell to him..can buy a lcd one..he suggests 40.00
reasonable price..went up and discuss with parents..they ok with it..me and my dad carry the tv down to him..get the money from him..

Packed my stuff...going to sch..grabbed some bread and milk...going school for training..on the way to sch..jason ulc pres..ask me want to work at wild wild wet..i am so happy..i always looking forward to work as a lifguard...i want to ask him more during training...they will be training new lifeguards to work at WWW...i heard the pay is quite gd there..

for once i was really early for training..training..starts...tough..tough..tough..

during warm down ..went to approach a senior call paul..i think my techniques gt some problem..not improving...paul call me to swim..he pick up alot of my mistakes just like that...
1.too much crist crossing during entry stroke
2.do a s shape pull on the oustide of the body..not inside the body..like i do

he tell us to learn more about improving strokes..by swimming more laps and observing them..and not dashing to finish..ok..should practise more...

also learn to breathe on both sides..instead of just the right..

wake up like 8am..thought of waking up early to give sis some tuition...she also went out to school to do her project...

Eat my breakfast and check my email..alot too settle for marketing...preparing them..gt to start calling them at 10am...

from 10am ....call until 12pm...then have lunch...mum cook chicken rice...better have heavy lunch..later going training...

went to guillemard for tuition at 130pm..only find out from cheng siang that next week school reopens liao..wah need to rearrange my tutition....after tuition have to go Onan road for another tuition at 4pm...Zhirong was really excitied about his new game..maple story...i am not a gamer..i just listened to him..but actually i know nuts about games...i talk to him about games..when he look tired...Also calling sponsors when i taking bus..haha..never do marketing until like that before..Asked zhirong's mum how tuition gonna be like when sch reopens..she say mon and wed 4pm..ok loh..fine with me..if need 3rd..will be weekend..of cos no problem.

Went home to drink a cup of milk and eat the sandwhich tuna ..my mum made specially for me..

Made my way to NUS...saw 2 of them only...hmm...normally track training not so popular..Change up and went jogging with bobby for 2 rounds..damn so long never run..

Mr Sim come already...only 4 of us were there...We went for warm up run for 2 rounds..then start resistance training using buddy buddy method...Then move on to circuit training involving skipping ,pushup ,strectching cords...

Then move on to fine tuning of running techniques...then move on to running of 5*100 m dash...

then went with the guys to src pool toilet to bath...damn comfortable with the cooling water..phew...feel so refreshed..was trying to add bobby hp no to my hp..cant leh..dun understand..i thought my hp spoilt liao..cos lately my friends sent me business card ..i cant add them in my contact list..now i know why..abit slow..haha..my sim and hp memory all used up liao..wah...how like that?..i think i better write some of the not so in contact friends hp somewhere...oh gdness..bobby was saying i so popular..i immediately tell him .not true...cos of my work ...experience the same problem with msn...my friends was complaining to me that they cant add me in msn..i then say i never receive their invitiation..only after some time...i know i reach my limit for my msn...i del some of the contacts...

made my way home..wah wait for quite some time for 95...gt this taxi uncle asking me for directions ...this is the carpark...he is waiting for his customer who call booked for him..actually i remember saw this indian lady...taking a taxi away at the bus stop...no wonder she look at her watch and decided to 4get about the taxi she called and get the one on the road..

I just tell the uncle what i think the 2nd time he came back to the bus stop to ask me for directions...i think he must have feel damn piss off

just log in after eating dinner and taking a bath...29 email...i thought i just check in the noon before i went out for tuition...oh no...more work...

wake up at 830..no tuition..relaxa bit today...still selling my cds on yahoo auctions..too many cds..liao...also help dad to sell his camera and dvds...

sister just came back from tuition..and take a photo of her..she bought a new pair of specs from msia..not bad...match quite well with her bag...hehe

was signing up for the mms ...was setting up to see the mms online.my hp dun have mms capability...can only see them online

Went to school for sportsball meeting...tie up alot of stuff with marketing and pageant ..did talk to vpd for Sports bash and marketing head for sportsclub...very rewarding ...

went to swimming training after that...training was getting tougher...mr sim even send us an excel file of all our timings..he even give us a target to reach..mine average is 46.8s ..my target hit below 42s..a close to 5 s difference..that really alot..phew...

was almost dead when training ends at 10pm..totally lie flat on the mrt...stone for a while...haha...

Went back home...damn famished...my mum bought satay bee hoon from bedok..too hungry to take out the camera and take a photo..went straight to the food..it was damn nice..gravy was good...cuttlefish was nice...

After this still not enough..eat some biscuits and drink a cup of milk..but still hungry...i think i better stop eating..cos i gonna ko..going to sleep..not too healthy to sleep with a full stomach

Set alarm at 730am..cos had to gather at 8am for breakfast…Kind of wake up cos LY wake up at about 720am…kelvin and me bring him to the toilet to wash up..after washing up…we clear up the room and wait for XY to come back..we then proceed to canteen for breakfast..

After breakfast we went to the hall for games…LY abit restless..we are trying to get him to play the games…sometimes he respond ..sometimes he does not..as the time goes …he becomes more agitated..he keep trying to scratched himself,yelling and even hitting himself on his head…We are trying very hard to restrainted him…

Finally time for lunch comes…we went back to the canteen…it was like buffet..with bee hoon,curry puff and sandwiches…

After lunch..it area cleaning time…the girls for our project are assigned to clean the female toilet at a certain storey..the guys will have to clean up the room..

After cleaning up the room …we slack in the room for a while.We then move to the hall to wait for the bus to come..Kelvin is driving and sending Ravine,LY,JQ and XY to parkway parade..I will bring the rest by the bus to Guillemard Sch…

After reaching sch…Xiao fei went to the main road to take a taxi to send Yew Joe home ..While the rest go back to the school and put back some of the stuff..Seok Hian parents vehicle is here liao..they bring Seok Hian home..

After locking the main door..i dun noe why my key cannot work..anyway Ting soon gave me his set…we bade farewell..

I am so tired and hot…I feel like going for a swim..dying for one…anyway I miss today beach training..cant leave acid camp..not enough volunteers…

Get back home liao..Buy bread at the shell station..near my house..not enough bread for breakfast tomolo..Saw my brother taking a nap in the room..Bring Vivi down for a walk..I then bring her back home and packed my stuff to go swimming..do some light swimming…8 laps of warm up follow by 10 laps of paddle freestyle training..Went back home..packed my bag..Parents and Jessie supposed to be coming back home…Got a sms from them saying that they will be staying over at desaru to give weekend traffic jam a miss..jessie sms me whelther can manage..of cos can..we are so used to it liao..We are doing fine..laundry done,house is cleaned up,dog is feed and we are doing the cooking fine..

I then went to bring out some chicken meat to defrost..Feel like cooking soup today..bring out 1 carrot and 4 poatato..cut them into small pieces …and put them into a pot..and slow cook them…to bring out the flavour in them…

Eat and watched Rush Hour 2 ..damn funny movie..find out the soup was not too gd..should have added ikan billis and chicken and slowly boil them..could have been better...

Gt a sms from sis saying that they are buying back deep fried lobster home...My parents came home at almost 12am..there is lobster and chilli crab for supper...
