i am in grp 25...GRp is quite on..haha.initially thought it wlll be boring..really sick of this orientation..seen it so many times, organising, leading and seeing...esp when i work at sentosa..saw a ton of orientation camp almost every day ..NUS,NTU,SMU and Poly..Basically i can 3 or 4 orientation camps a day when i working there..u will be surprised that all are the same..
But the one at NIE is more reserved and more interesting..The focus was more into getting the grp to interact and know each other..cos we will be working together on one mod call service learning..So we will need to know each other well and interact well..cos it not like the orientation camp..starting the camp say hello and the end of the camp is the end of the i see u kind of feeling..of cos if u want to go after the girl..some arrangement can be done...haha..
I think maybe the camp was much simple and reserved cos maybe we are teachers and quite alot of teachers are mid careers switchers..so they are not like very young..so those typical strenous or shouting games will piss them off big time..
End of the orientation camp..we go over to Jurong Point to chit chat..i mean not with my grp..Went to Long John Silvers..Kelly,Estee,Tat Siang,Zhirong,Jianhong and Chee Kuan were there..I was happy to hear that Chee Kuan went for the interview. He sound confident he will clinch the job..Gd lah..Was quite worried that he could not get a job.I told him its was a blessing in disguise for his rejection for his application for a teaching career..He might get the job which will give him the good bucks..haha..i think he more a business man in him than teaching..that what i think..haha..all the best CK..
