I wake up at 8am..Eat my breakfast..Then packed my bag to go for 9am tuition at Guillemard.Bring along the assesment book i bought for him the previous day..After tuition ..went back home.Have "yi mian" for lunch.My mum cooking that healthy ,no frill and simple dish..

After i go check my email..do marketing stuff for FOL.Times flies, b4 i know it.It already 330pm..I gt to get go for another tuition at 4pm and training later at NUS.I grabbed my running shoes,2 bread,1 packet of tea,my thermo flask and the essential stuff and left home.

I gt my pay for my tuition today..phew finally after 8 session..my pay come liao..Actually i have alot of things in mind to buy-a multi-purpose bag,basketball shoes,mp3 player,a Stars War Imperial Set(I have booked liao ..suppose to go Plaza Singapura to collect) and maybe a desktop computer..

After tuition ,i take bus to mrt..Going to school for training.This is the first time i going for running and conditioning training for ULC.I wonder how is it gonna be like?I hope it not gonna be tough like the pool training..

I reached there at 630pm..Did not see a single ULC soul over there..I wonder if i went to the wrong place..It should be here..mah..After waiting for 10 min ..still did not see Mr Sim and the team..I thought i should go over to the swimming pool ..they might be assembling over there...

I went over there..also nobody over there...haiz..dun tell me today no training..i remember seeing the email...I went back to the track.I saw 2 of the guys liao..I chit chat with them..Mr Sim comes later...I saw him carrying alot of stuffs..from the storerm..I and my friends went to help him after we changed..Gt to help him bring dumbells,skipping ropes,cones...i wonder how the training gonna be like?

Training starts..2 rounds of running around the track(warm up),then follow by conditioning training..(pairs),then follow by circuit training(skipping ropes,dumbells and resistance cords) and finally practising techniques of proper running..

This sums up the training..I went to change up..I then went back home.When i reached home,i saw my dad watching this movie called
马永贞..The first thing that attracts me that this movie has alot of fighting scenes..I went to get my dinner and watched the movie.Although i did not watch the entire movie.. I think this movie belongs to those swordman era..All these movies coming from the era has a common thing:the main protagonist will never die..and he can single handlely fight a few hundred men even when he has been cut,chopped or beaten badly..And the most interesting is they always have a big enemy..which they will have to kill at all cost..I asked more about the movie from my dad..He never tell me this movie is at least 30 years old..He has trying and looking for it for some time.From my conversation..i have noted a few interesting points about this film.

1)This film was never screened in the cinema.what happened the movie was supposed to be screened that day,at the very last minute this movie was pulled out.It was not allowed to be screened cos of its excessive violence and its glamourisation of secret society culture..I quite agreed with it.There is alot of bloody fighting scene.According to my dad,at that time the movie was supposed to be shown..Problem of secret society is getting very bad and their activities are getting more rampant.Interesting piece of history

2)Due to the ban of the movie screening in spore ..Alot of sporeans flock to JB to watch it.I heard from my dad ,the version screened over there was not censored at all.So sporeans going over to JB to get movies is not a new phenomenon.Sporeans still going over to JB to get VCDs and DVD9.Hehe..

3)After the screening of this movie,there is a significant increase no of gang fights carried out using axes in spore and JB.Cos axe is the favourite weapon for the protagonist.We can see that alot of secret societies members idolise the protagonist..and believe in the axe power.

I will like to watch the entire movie.Actually my dad has alot of these classic movies in his collection.I will like to watch all of them..Actually i am thinking of doing a column on movies and foods review..since these are my favourite pastimes.Do check my blog regularly..I will be doing it soon..

Watching this classic movie,reminds me of mine experiences of going to the cinema when i am very young.I remember my parents will bring me and my brother to the nearby cinema called hollywood.It closed down liao.It actually the theatre that was taken by city harvest church previously.It just beside lion city hotel.I remember there is only theatre in a cinema.Not like now gt ten seperate theatre in one cinemplex.I remember vividly there is only 2 movies screening for the entire theatre.These 2 movies are screened at different timings..I also remembers the very traditional way of choosing seats..no internet bookings of seats or telephone booking..They will have one big piece of seating plan at the counter..U can choose the seats from the seating plan.Those with X is sold liao..U choose the seats u want..the cashier will draw X on the seating plan.She will also write ur seat no with a crayon before giving u the tickets.hey ..i remember the tickets seem to be always in green or pink..i dun noe what it means for each colour ...i will never find out forever..ya..ya.and i remember there is 2 prices for the tickets..if i can remember correctly i think its 2 dollars for the seats on the upper storey and 1 dollar for seats on the lower storey.The old cinemas used to be double storeys..before going to watch the cinema there is an indian guy selling "gam jump butay".It a kind of snack with alot of nuts which u can choose from a wide variety which is wrapped with a magazine paper...into a cone..It easy to bring along and no frill snack.People will always buy that or the "kue chee"(hokkien).So much for the gd experiences ,I will write on the bad experiences..I used to dislike people who eat kue chee.Cos it really irrating the sound ..tig tig tat tat...Can u imagine the whole cinema goers eating that?...haha..and the thing is after eating that ..they will just throw the husks on the floor..it's is a real big mess ..I have seen cinemas full of husks on the floor...Another bad experience is regarding the seats..especially the very old cinemas including the one i frequents when i was young..There is alot of blood bugs on the cushion..I have quite a few experiences with them..cos i used to wear shorts when i was young.after the show i will notice there is alot of spots on the thighs in contact with the cushion..haha..cant believe it now..So to prevent that..i will made it a point to wear long pants esp to that cinema..that all for the bad experiences..come to think of it now..it pretty interesting..i dun noe why i feel so nostagic today..thinking of all these things..regardless of gd or bad experiences..it my childhood experiences..i am writing them now..so it can help me to recap and to keep as a record...
