monday

wake up at 630am.Suppose to go running..But when i heard my parents and my sis are going to red star restaruant for tim sum.I decided to forgo running for tim sum..

on the way back home ..i gt the chance to drive the new car.The car was indeed powerful..I think i am not used to driving such a big car.On the whole it was a very gd experience..except the parking part..need to attempt a few times..

Later thought of going spore expo for the book fair at suntec and do some shopping..after resting a while at home..we went out again to suntec.We went straight to the book fair..it was pretty quiet ..not much ppl around...that the reason i like to go out during weekday and stay at home to relax during weekends..

The book fair has alot of chinese books..actually i was just looking around..i think my sis is more interested in book fair..Actually i am looking for chinese movies..I am a movie siao now after taking a module on american film last sem..I now more critical of film as an elment of social critque and the more observant on cinematic techniques and various directors style..

Recently chinese movies is getting very popular..Quite a number of them is featured in film fest..I was thinking of getting a few of the classic at the book fair..Actually i saw quite a few interesting movies .I will like to grab them esp i saw a box set of akira kurowara's movies..i heard alot about them..alot of the movie buffs see him as a legend..i have not seen his movie..but then i did not buy any movie.i was thinking actually i bought alot of movie after my exam..I have not yet seen all of them yet..better dun buy..

We then proceed to marina sq for some shopping..marina square has changed alot..i remember the last time i go ..so many shops have closed down at that time..There is major renovations around at that time..now it look so different..so many new shops...on the whole it looks very classy now..Alot of shops have just opened for business..

We pass by this ice cream shop call venezia gelato italiano.We order 2 cups..I order rum and raisin and my sis order belgium chocolate.It was quite gd..The price is like 2.80 for a small cup..

We then went over to Suntec to have lunch at Congress..I ordered my fav Yun Tun noodles..But they increased the price to 3.80 now..kind of expensive...but then too bad..i like it..so no choice

I better eat til i am full..cos later swimming training..need all the energy i have ...I made an appointment with a guy call Mr Chua.He will give me lobang to teach kids to swim..I dun noe if i can make it..just go for it..

After that interview,i went back home.I packed my bag and made my way back to NUS..I was early..Do some stretching while waiting for the rest to come..I brought my vaccuum flask..and made energy wheat drink in it.

Saw Mr Sim the instructor come liao..He gave us the training programme today..It was quite comprehensive..hehe...i shall type it out here..

Training ends at 930pm..I take the bus to interchange..happen to see the senior,Yunjia.We chit chat abit.Happen to find out he work as a lifeguard at YMCA..He also going into teaching kids to swim..I then ask how he swim so fast.He told me a few techniques-first when sprinting minimise the amount of time u surfaced to breathe..I surfaced to breathe for every stroke..Losing precious time..according to him.I think it sound logical..His idea was to swim as hard as possible holding ur breath..He was telling me about optimal 6-8 strokes per surfacing..Phew..i think it will be damn hard for me..I gt to train on this..No wonder they swim so fast..they gt technique.

I went to the MRT.My stomach was calling for food all the time..Feeling kind of uncomfortable..I decided to read the newspaper hope that the "nutrients" from the papers will go to the stomach.

I went back home..it was 1030 pm liao.Tucked into dinner immediately..Gt chicken porridge and bread..I finish them in no time..

Take a bath and checked my email , surf the net and chit chat online with my friend..and decided to call it a day
